"Membership of The Tax Institute supported my career in three really key ways. Earlier in my career it gave me the chance to meet new people and gain an understanding of what really good practitioners look like. Secondly, it gave me the ability to build a profile … and now to make sure I’m across all issues in my profession.”
"I think being a member of The Tax Institute is critical for anyone wanting to have a career in tax and the opportunity that it gives you to meet people and connect with people … We all need support in our career and that is what The Tax Institute can do for you.”

We’ll be in touch with a reminder when your 60 days of free membership is nearly over. At that point, you can choose to keep the resources and connections you’ve come to love by signing up for full membership. You just need to pay your annual membership fee, which covers you for 12 months from the end of your free trial.
If you decide not to take up full membership, you’ll still have the journals and newsletters you received during the 2-month trial, but you’ll lose access to future resources or events.
Yes! The Tax Institute runs regular free, member-only webinars which you will be able to attend as part of your free trial. Hear from our Senior Advocate Robyn Jacobson CTA on the evolving JobKeeper program, or tune into subject matter experts across a range of topics in our Taxing Times series.
You can also register for virtual conferences and online events with reduced member pricing during the 2-month free trial.
Please note that a select few of our premier national events are open only to current full members and so are only available once you transition to a full, paid membership.
When you study at The Tax Institute, you also become a member at a discounted membership rate. This means that as you progress through your tax education with us, your learning is also supported by frequent tax technical updates and practically applicable insights outside of the course outline.
You need to be a member for the duration of your study with us, so you’ll only be eligible to enrol in a study program once you transition to a full, paid membership.
